Plays easy and sounds cool. That’s the perfect combination found in this carefully-crafted blues tune for younger bands. The trumpets and bones take the lead, with the saxes providing interesting counter lines. Then several bars of full ensemble lead to an open solo section for any instruments over simple Blues changes, giving young players the opportunity to improvise. If they aren’t quite ready for that yet, suggested solos are provided. After the solos, the bones, tenors and bari get to shine playing some fun unison licks which lead back to the whole band playing a big finish.
